Green Lake Conference Center is a great place to work! Recreational
facilities include a 36-hole golf course, boating, lake swimming, tennis and an indoor recreation center.
Occasionally staff may attend open conference sessions in their free time.
Here are some examples of seasonal positions that are typically available:
- Housekeeping Positions
- Guest Services Clerk
- Garden Helper
- Program Technician (room set up and audio/visual equipment monitoring)
- Food Service (Dining Room and Kitchen)
- Waterfront
- Children’s Center (specific education credits may be required)
- Golf Courses of Lawsonia (Terrace Restaurant, Pro Shop, Groundskeeping)
Application Process:
When we receive your application it will be routed to the proper departments.
Due to the large number of applications we normally receive the department
manager will only contact you if they are interested in setting up an interview.
If you are under 18 years old:
You must have a work permit to work for us. After you have been initially hired,
we will give you the work permit form and instructions. You will not be allowed
to work until the permit has been administered.
If you would like housing:
Our student housing is for employees 18 - 29 years of age who do not live in
the area. You must be a high school graduate. No couples. Breaking
any of our “house rules” can be grounds for disciplinary action or termination. Each room has a dorm size refrigerator and
is air conditioned. The staff kitchen is
equipped with a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and some dishes, utensils, pots and pans. You may want to bring some additional items. Blankets, pillows,
sheets, towels and pillow cases are also furnished. There are no telephones in
the rooms but there is one on both floors. While the dorm is on our property, it
is still about 1 ˝ miles from most work sites. Many employees bike, walk, or
drive, but please keep in mind that there is no shuttle.
